Hello...again

Hello...again

Hi!

Well it's been a while since I last blogged.  I'd love to be able to say that I have been gallivanting around the world seeing tons of beautiful sights and topping up my tan, but alas, my only excuse is day to day life getting in the way.

Well, anyway, welcome to the new look Lilac Dragonfly website!  I decided I wanted a brand new site that would show off my jewellery to it's highest potential.  I discovered Shopwired whilst searching for a platform on which to build my new home.  I cannot recommend Shopwired enough, they have been patient with my daft questions and their customer service is second to none.  It took me a long while to decide which theme would suit me best as there are so many super ones to choose from. I am actually quite chuffed with my final choice.  This new site offers wish lists, back in stock requests, and is now fully secure for your online protection.

I am no longer working at Rococo in St Helier, I decided it was time to move on to pastures new.  So am currently between day jobs.  The extra time however, I have been using wisely, designing this website, making new jewellery and also making new connections.  One of these new connections has been Julie from Joo Joo's at Rozel Bay, Jersey.  We met at the disastrous Arctic Village last Christmas, and along with Gail from Florence James we hit it off immediately.  In fact the friendship I gained was really the only highlight on a nightmare 4 days...  Julie's little gift shop is stunning, situated just up the hill from Rozel Bay it's a perfect Aladdin's cave of gorgeous gifts from Jersey.  She only opened in August 2016, but has already built a loyal customer base of both locals and tourists alike.  It's been a pleasure to spend my newly acquired spare time helping Julie build her new website (again with Shopwired, so they've had double the amount of daft questions from me) and last week she went live...   Many bottles of wine were drunk and sausage baps (from The Hungry Man, Rozel... a real find) eaten in the making of this site and she's really proud of it.

I think that's all the news for now, if you got this far, thanks for reading!!

Bye for now
